The ACHAFR has been approved for recognition by the Board of Rotary International and complies with the recognition requirements:
- ACHAFR is a group of Rotarians representing at least 3 countries who share a common interest in specific worthwhile activity that advances the Object of Rotary.
- ACHAFR is organized in accordance with RI policy
- ACHAFR does not duplicate the purposes of any existing Fellowship
