MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Membership of the Antique, Classic and Historic Automobile World Fellowship of Rotarians is open to:
- All Rotarians in good standing or all those who are the spouse or partner of such a Rotarian
- Who own one ore more automobiles manufactured before 1975 * or have an interest in Classic Vehicles of any age.
- Agree to abide by the bylaws of the Fellowship
- Members of International Chapters who have paid their Annual Membership Levy tothe ACHAFR
- Rotarians who have completed an Application Form and have either paid a Life Time Membership of € 150 or an annual fee of € 50
*) The Board of the Fellowship can grant exceptions to this rule for vehicles of specific interest or Rotarians with special assets for the Fellowship
FELLOWSHIP AIMS
The Antique, Classic and Historic Automobile world Fellowship of Rotarians (ACHAFR) is an international association of Rotarians dedicated to promoting the preservation and utilisation of antique, classic and historic automobiles as an opportunity for fellowship and service.
ACHAFR combines an adherence to the principles of Rotary with a love of cars and the history of automotive technology and use this shared interest as an opportunity to advance and foster the object of Rotary.
Our objectives are:
- To advance international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideals of service.
- To promote Rotary fellowship through touring, rallying, exhibiting and other activities involving antique and classic cars.
- To promote high standards of stewardship of our technological heritage and abide by safe and considerate driving standards
- To support Rotary service projects and opportunities when and wherever feasible
This fellowship operates in accordance with Rotary International policy, but is not an agency of, or controlled by, Rotary International.
